5R55E manual valve body?

I saw the thread from the guy asking about performance options for the 5r55E, but that thread went off into left field so I am hoping to pick up at the last informative reply, which was someone saying there are oversized pans, some sort of OEM upgrade, etc. I want to change my valve body to a manual unit or tiptronic/semiauto shift kit so it's not so daggone boring to drive. I have driven manuals all my life and my current Ranger is 1 of 3 vehicles that I have owned that were automatic. Thanks

5R55E pans from 4x4s are deeper

Transgo makes a shift kit that many like

As far as I know there is no manual shift kit for the 4R or 5R models
Nor does the Software in the PCM's trans control have that option

You could swap to a Manual trans computer(PCM), so no list of trouble codes with no trans wires hooked up, and then use a 3rd party Trans controller that has manual shift options
Although a quick search didn't show any 3rd party trans controllers for the 4R or 5R automatics

Equivalents to "oversized" 5r55e Pan, factory on 4WD models, with addition of a DrainBung+Plug:
ATP# 103367
Dorman# 265-831
If you swap from shallow pan to deep pan, also need to swap in a deep filter that has SyphonTube on bottom side.
FordMotorCraft# ft-134
DrainValve optional for above TransPans, for quick+clean ATF draining+disposal, check ground clearance on LowRiders+OffRoaders:
Fumoto# f106n
