amount of trans fluid with valve body change

2003 4x4, 4.0, 5R55E 115,000 miles
I have ordered a reman valve body, gasket, pan gasket and filter. Can anyone tell me how much fluid I will need when I change these parts?
I have read the trans holds 10.2 quarts.
Thank you, Jake

+1. My filter change was 5 qt. exactly to refill. I didn't remove my valve body.
I used Walmart's own Super Tech MerconV. I felt confident using it as people have posted on boards that it's good stuff.
Then a great deal on a Valvoline MerconV 6-pack came 'round (Amazon) so I got that for next time.

Thanks, I will order a case. Walmart has free delivery over $35.00. I'm also buying a new pan with a drain plug.
Regards, jake
