Disable ABS without triggering ABS light.
My 2001 Ranger XLT 4.0L 4x4 has an issue which has caused me a GREAT deal of problems today...
Was coming home from work, and snow had just melted, causing my dirt driveway to get muddy. Went to step on the brakes, ABS detected slide, and let the wheels coast, causing me to ram into the back of my van which had a hitch on it...
So now not only does my van have a nice dent in it, but the hitch ripped up the lower half on my bumper...
My 2000 Ranger didn't have ABS, neither does my 2006 Grand Caravan, nor did my 98 Lumina. I want this crap gone, but I don't want the annoying light on. Please tell me there is a way to disable this ABS crap without the annoying light coming on...

In the engine fuse box fuses 6(50amp) and 28(30amp) power the 4wheel ABS system, pull them out
Fuse 14 in the cab fuse box is key on power for ABS pull it out
Don't unplug cab fuse 11, that powers several things in the cluster not just ABS light
See if ABS light comes on while driving
If so then you will need to go to the ABS connector in the engine bay and find the dark green wire on pin 16, cut it, that is the ground that turns the ABS bulb on
Or just unplug the whole ABS connector and see if that works
