well i decided to go and get a can of spray tint and do my tails forgot to mask off the reverse lights but thats ok its just a quick fix till i get my 07 tails then ill be doing them right. i even tinted the 3rd brake light.

Looks pretty good. How does it effect the light that comes trhough the lense?

 

during the day time its alittle harder to see the lights but at night you can still see they easily.

I love how my 06 tails look nightshaded, you'll be happy if you do that with your set as well I'm sure

i believe it is the factory hitch cause i just bought the truck in june. come spring time im gonna be taking it off and my friends uncle does powder coating and he said it would be about $100 to get it done so im gonna have it done (if i can get it off). or ill just take the bumper off and sand it and spray it with some new primer and paint.

 

wherd you get the spray tint? whats it called? and did you have to clear coat after?

 

Not sure what he used but I had great results with "VHT Niteshade". It leaves a semi gloss after dry but I used rustoleum super gloss clear over the VHT.
