Just remember...these numbers.....are chassis dyno numbers....so at the wheels. Your gross gain is more than 75, so 207 + like 100 at the crank = 220ish at the wheels.

Jer...you need to get your truck tuned and thrown on the dyno son! Throw in injectors for the second pass.

Procharger kits come with an intercooler. I had a local quote me for $3700 installed. That is everything, WITH an intercooler. I suggest looking into procharger. He told me the kit for the rangers are the same as the 4.0 mustang kits.

Their should be room, but looks like it would be tight. I think ron was working on 1 for his kit...

And yes Shane dyno run is coming this summer, around Sept or so..

End thread jack....

Engine bay is different and maybe the throttle body is in a different location. The reason they have an intercooler is because their kits use centrifugal superchargers which are pretty much belt driver turbos while the RP and EE kit use roots type superchargers that mount in place of the intake manifold.

Centrifugal:

They still wont bolt on. The engine is the same except for maybe the accessory location and the bay that its in.

a centrifugal would be nice, but i'd much prefer a roots type blower. for a few reasons. one i have a bunch of experience with them and can service it with my eyes closed almost. second, the m90 is one hell of a supercharger. it doesnt put out big numbers, but its efficient and lasts, with little maintenence.

another thing, will i be seeing any kr on stock exhaust manifolds.

i plan on headers eventually.
the manifolds are cast, which usually means imperfections from the factory. would it help any if i took them off and ported them a bit?

i did that on my grand prix before i ran headers, and saw a bit of an improvement just because the casts were so inconsistent from the factory

Man watching that gives me the chills. But the good chills if you know what I mean. Kind of like the first time I saw transformers

It only gets worse. I used to listen to S/Ced 4.0s all the time and now I listen to 5.4s S/Ced and that whine is something I would love, love to have. Tranny on the other hand won't be too happy.

Hell yes! A guy in my old neighborhood has a badass one. It's red. Slammed. And the stock wheels are like a dark charcoal color. Wow. Just wow.

Well when I pay off my quad this month and save some money I may be picking one up. I love the wagon look and the 6.1 V8. It gets about 20-22MPG highway according to the forum members so that is better than my truck.
