the last total we came up with was just under 8,000 including the truck pruchase so after material costs and such it will be right about 8,000 or a little over.

wow thats a steal!!! bed looks good.. you can even look at pictures of one of those on the internet for 8000.. you guys do some awesome work.. and props to your dad helping ya with the project!!
wish my dad had more time to do stuff like this with me.. but i guess when you manage a 52,000 sq foot boat building plant you dont have much time for anything else.

well ladys and gentleman, the moment weve all been waiting for, or at least what ive been waiting for is here! the truck is DONE!!! woo hooo!! lol we put the finishing touches on it today and i drove it home but not without snapping a couple pics first of course. only a few for now, but i will get more at a later date.
i gotta say, i felt a bit sad leaving my ranger behind and leaving in the new truck. it feels like im abandoning her but the new truck is such a nice ride!

thanks!
i love driving it! man its so quiet and smooth. the leather seats are really comfy too. all the switches and buttons will take some getting used to. its not as fast as my ranger though, i will miss that but you can tell its got power.
thanks man, it does ride alot better than my ranger and i will def make use of the huge back seat!
i dont have an official total but i have approx $2500 on parts, paint and materials so the total inlcuding the truck is right around $8000.
