the last total we came up with was just under 8,000 including the truck pruchase so after material costs and such it will be right about 8,000 or a little over.

wish my dad had more time to do stuff like this with me.. but i guess when you manage a 52,000 sq foot boat building plant you dont have much time for anything else.

Looks pretty damn good...I got that text you sent just as I was going in to the gym and I was pretty pumped for you when I saw it had paint on it.

Now get that piece of crap out of the shop so your dad can de-stripe my truck!

think you'll do another one down the road??

yeah i know what you mean. i doubt i will do another one, i dont think my dad really wants to do anymore and i know i couldnt do it without him. he told me today this truck was the most challenging one hes done because of the shear strength of these new F-150's. even the paint was hard to sand he said. these are tough trucks for sure, ford wasnt messing around when they built these things.

i gotta say, i felt a bit sad leaving my ranger behind and leaving in the new truck. it feels like im abandoning her but the new truck is such a nice ride!

Looks great, I bet youre not going to drive the ranger much anymore now tho. You'll like the better ride, more room, and power a lot more.

Awesome work man! Looks like it just rolled off the lot!

If you dont mind me asking, about how much more do you think you invested in parts to get it where it is today?

i love driving it! man its so quiet and smooth. the leather seats are really comfy too. all the switches and buttons will take some getting used to. its not as fast as my ranger though, i will miss that but you can tell its got power.

i dont have an official total but i have approx $2500 on parts, paint and materials so the total inlcuding the truck is right around $8000.
