Accident Mod!!!

This morning on my way to school i was rear-ended. My poor bumper took the brunt of the accident. Stupid People around here dont know how to drive. I was driving in a construction zone and someone wanted to turn left at a designated turning lane, then all of a sudden didnt want to turn anymore. They cut off two cars in front of me to get back into RUSH HOUR traffic.......when he cut them off they all stoped. Stoped dead in the street at a green light. So of course i had to stop. I had plenty of room to stop, but of course some lil punk in a civic was tailing me. He hit me good. His hoods all ****ed up and both headlights are broken. No airbags (too bad) might have taught him a lesson. Well anyway all it did to me was push down my bumper. I actually had to look for my license plate because it flew off in the accident. Now thats not even the best part. The driver has a suspended license!!!!!! SO after i called the cops and we were waiting a van pulls up and his sister gets out of the van (its her car). So she wants to claim she was driving! Just for the police report though. Well i decided to go along with it because were gonna settle it out of insurance anyway. It doesnt really matter who was driving because shes gonna ****in pay me. The cost of the bumper from ford is around $365.00 w/o install or anything. And the suspended license guys sister works for ford and can get it for $260.00. Well to make a long story short i dont want a factory ford bumper, i want a roll pan. So im gonna go get 3 estimates done and just have her pay me for the lowest one. Thats usually how it goes i guess. Well to make a long story short no one was hurt (thank god) and the only things that suffered were the vehicles. Hopefully i can get this all settled before the summer. Any suggestions on what to do lemme know!

CJ

Edit: Will post pics when i get home from school!

The police took 45 min to arrive. So the mystery van arrived and dissapeared even before the po-pos showed up.

sorry, I would not have gone along with that
you are now an accessory

you driving a truck were able to stop, him driving a compact car could not
do you wonder why he has no license

I hope it all works out for you in the end and glad no one was hurt

So how in the world does letting this guy go teach him a lesson?? All you taught him is its ok to drive with a suspended license and hit other people cause nothing will happen!! Your now an acomplise to his crime and just as guilty as that kid is. I dont give a **** if you are settleing out side of insurance that has NOTHING to do with him driving with a suspended license! Ever think that his insurance was probably suspended also? I dont know whats worse him driving without a license or you aiding him in getting away with it...

Glad your ok anyway...

Tailgate made it through ok so im kinda happy......roll pan is in the future now.

Also i went and got an estamate at the Stealership and the grand total is $538.23 But it will only cost a fraction of that for the roll pan and paint so me = happy.....sorta....anyway im going to bed long night.
