Clock spring for 96

So I am having a terrible time locating a clock spring for my 96 ford ranger with cruise. Does anyone know if a different one will fit and work? I have been looking for days now reading online and can’t find any info stating that there are interchangeable clock springs for the 96.
We have no horn, the cruise buttons were busted and wires torn off. We replaced that but still no horn and we need it because our 17 year old is driving it without.

Does the cruise work?
If so then clockspring is OK

The cruise "on" gets 12v thru the horn relay wiring
And the back lights are grounded using same wire ground as horn buttons
So if they work then both horn wires in clockspring are OK

Wrecking yard will be best bet, doesn't look like they make them any more, I don't see a for sure cross reference for other years and models

Horn relay is in engine fuse box, you can jumper it to makes sure horn works
