they are trying to make it look too much like a big truck.......Ford needs to go back to making the SuperDuty and the F-150's look the same.....they sold more when they looked like the 150's than they have now.............that is prolly the ugliest truck i have ever seen....the only thing going for the '08 Superduty is that you will be able to choose, Powerjoke or Cummins by mid year '08.......

i will tell you what is going to happen.....Toyota is going to come out with a 3/4 & 1 ton heavy duty pickup with a diesel in it and it will blow Ford, Chevy, and Dodge out of the water......

a super duty is not a semi, but they are trying to make it look similar


looks like the 1991 model box trucks

 

some things i like about it but make it alot more expensive because of those items.....

1. the step that comes out of the tailgate
2. the built in spot mirrors on the mirrors
3. how the "Superduty" is stamped into the grill
4. the captins chairs in the rear with the small console
5. the probable fake vent built into the fender with the emblem...would be cool if it was the air intake
6. the large pockets built into the door panels...
7. i would like the I-Pod connection if I liked I-Pods....

that is all i see that i really like.....

 

they are trying to make it look like a semi so all the idiots that cut holes in there bed to install stacks....that way they have the semi look for the stacks to match...

Have you taken a good look at Class 8 Trucks? Hardly any have chrome on them anymore. Ford bailed out of the medium(yes, semi's are medium trucks) truck market years ago. They sold there line of trucks to Freightliner. Freightliner then purchased the name "Sterling" from GMC/White. They call the Fords, Sterlings...

 

exactly......but maybe ford is trying to make a comeback since they are going to make the trucks look like semi's....

 

Well that's it, I am Done with Ford! That is a Whole mess of Ugly, it makes the new dodge look attractive. I really like the new silverado's I guess I am a GM guy now.

no kidding HJ......i like the new Dodges...and if the new silverado's have the same front end as the Avalanches and the Tahoe's then i will like them.....i just dont like chevy's diesel engine....i am partial to the I-6 diesels.....

 

I hate new Dodges, 2002+ but this is a whole mess of ugly! I never thought anybody could make an uglier truck than Dodge and I was wrong.



^This looks clean and ruged and stylish to me and if they get rid of Torsion bars like they say they are going to I am a Chevy guy from now on.
