Icon8 GAS....lets hear what everyone has to say!

Gas is going to be crazy this summer...I'm 24 years of age...when I was 16, so 7-8 years ago gas was under a dollar during the winter in Washington...now is 3.50 and going up and up and up...hows it down in your neck of the woods?

I take the train to work. I live 30 seconds from my town's little commuter train station. My employer pays half the monthly train pass. I don't pay for parking and I don't burn gas. Its a wonderful thing.

Yep, states like California are always going to be higher. It's averaging around $4.00 around my neck of the jungle too!

Yeah, it was pretty cheap out here in the Hesperia (I live in Victorville) region a couple weeks ago. It just keeps going up though. I believe we will see $5.00 a gallon this year, and it will probably happen here (Cali) first.

EDIT: Hey, you live in Granada Hills? I used to work over there frequently off of the 118 and Balboa. Just go north on Balboa and it was past the McDonalds and Subway that's on the right. I also was working out in Canoga.

You think you guys got it bad? Gas is $1.10 per liter in Vancouver, which figures to $4.16 per gallon. Not to mention the BC government just instituted a "carbon tax" that will raise the price by $.02 this year, and will raise the price by $.07 by 2012.

Weep for us.
