Flashing "OD OFF" lamp in the cluster means
the computer has TroubleCodes stored for the Transmission.
You need an OBD2 scanner that will read both StandardSAE & ProprietaryFord codes.
Without ODB2 TroubleCodes can only guess as to the problem.

Welcome to the forum

Flashing OD lights means computer has set transmission codes, P0700-P0803
Not all readers can "see" these codes

You need to get the codes first, then you can decide what to do

Code list here: https://www.therangerstation.com/tec...II_codes.shtml

Need EXACT code numbers, "I think it was..............." is no good

You will see from the list that each solenoid has several codes, each means something different, and most do not mean that solenoid is bad, just FYI
