resetting check engine light?

How do you reset the light? It pulled the codes po171 and po174 and I seen on here its usually that small 90 degree hose and it had a big hole in it so I replaced it now I just need to reset the light

You stated it was a few seconds.
Make up your mind.
Then go clean the IAC valve.
