So, 4 Holes is 4 holes, Right ??

I mean, Ford only has that 4 cylinder Ranger now. I know about the turbo and the specs. But, what about the ability to do work, period? 4 holes is 4 holes, not 6. You can only get so much out of 4 holes. I hear turbo engines run hotter and have a shorter lifespan.
i can take a truck with a bad battery, and read 12 volts on a meter. But it cannot do work, ( start the truck). I somehow see Ford getting these impressive dyno readings, but in the real world out there doing work, do these new rangers hold up ??

2.3l Ecoboost is what is in 2019-2022 Rangers
It was first used in 2015 Mustangs a then Explorers and other Ford models
So far so good, haven't seen any inherent issues with it
Any turbo charged engine can run hotter and be more prone to head gasket issues, those are just turbo issues, not Ford issues specifically
It used to be, and in some situations still is, "There is no replacement for displacement"
I think you can get Rangers with 7,500lbs towing capacity
If I was going to tow over 5,000lbs on a weekly bases I would NOT get a Ranger for that, lol
If you are going to be loading it up with gear and trailer to 3,000-4,000lbs I would think it would last you a long time
Doesn't take a genius to figure out if I run a drivetrain at max capacity full time its not going to last as long as bigger drivetrain at 60% capacity full time
