UPS brought me something from Hobbs, NM

....that came from MI....



...which puts me closer to an OEM look.

wahoo!!! The big brown truck should be makin a stop at my house tomorrow with my new brakes for Alon, but I wont have time to install them towards probably the end of the week :(

no extension housing yet. I think I may just buy a new one.

Scott....it's an RCM cover. It goes behind the shifter on the floor, and if memory is correct, it hides the electrical for some airbag stuff - I think.

It hides the airbag controller thing. Looks like an ECU/computer thing. The one lefty got, is only on 02-03 manual Fx4's.

Lefty...where'd you get your floor bezels? The chromie things.

Nice.

Too bad you can't use one of the Gen 1 Explorer's tail housing. I know where a few of them are.

I could have done the mod countless times now if I could use the older extension housing.

FX4....I got 1 from a JY in WY and another from a JY in WI (I think). I'll be calling same JYs to see if they have extension housings.

The extension housings are discontinued from Ford, I found this out when just a few weeks ago I had one in my hands and I sold it for 40 to Justin after he hugged it. LOL
