I don't disagree. Body lift and explorer leaf springs are priorities. Should be done by the end of the month.

Problem

My open door light and dome light stays on even when the door is closed. How can I fix it?

Do you have the dimmer wheel turned all the way up?

No, it is down, and the light switch is off as well.

I had been wondering lately why my truck was starting funny, like it almost didn't have enough fuel pressure and then would about die right after starting and then all of a sudden it would sound fine. I got my fuel filter changed today (major pain), but after letting the pump prime up to fill the filter, it cranked with a touch of the key. My whole issue was because of a plugged filter! $10 fix and now it cranks easier than it ever has before

LED Driver Light Install

Put a pair of small narrow beam LED lightbars on grill rail in the front of truck. I hesitate to call these lightbars because the lights only put out 40 lumens each and are only 1"X4" and double stick tape installed. No illumination gain but they do provide bright 8K kelvin light and are highly visible for daytime driving. Powered with Add-A-Circuit off ignition activated hot lead from fuse block under hood so always on when truck is running but also ground switched on inside console. Cheap lights so not sure how long they'll last but now that the wiring is done it'll be a fast replacement to something brighter or tougher when the time comes.

Went for a drive in the country to look at the snow and then took it to the car wash and powerwashed the salt grime off. 10F out but sunny. Now we'll see if the doors freeze shut after treating the weatherseals with silicone. I'd put it in the heated garage but there's a motorcycle and a riding mower project going on in there.

Yesterday I removed my stock leafs, shocks and lift blocks and installed explorer leaf springs and Bilstein 4600's for the rear. Much better ride.

I started mine for the first time in 8 months last weekend. Should probably get some new fuel in it.

Also I have been stripping down a 14 bolt for the rear axle replacement.

Finally got around to cleaning the garage out enough that I could fit the truck in to replace the burnt out cluster bulbs. Wasn't about to be outside in this 7 degree weather. LEDs look so much better. Name: DF10A3C2-3D6F-4B58-A899-D567D1AF8442_zpsfc41vqbj.jpg

Don't forget to check/top off your blinker fluid when you change those bulbs.

KC Slimlights

Ordered a pair of 100W KC Slimlite drivers for the front to offset the poor OE headlights. Will wire them with relay to the highbeam circuit for switching with an additional ground circuit switch on dash just for convenience if I want to run with only highbeams. Using a kit that mounts lights to front plate mounting holes and hoping that is solid enough. Will take pics and post during the install.

Just bought the Recon LED bed light from 4WO|Recon Lights so that I can easily find my stuffs in the truck bed at night. I'm planning to wire them up to dome lights.

is there a way to tell which way to put in the led bulbs? I understand they only work in one direction. 50/50 chance will not go well for me LOL

LEDs work with the flow of electricity in one direction only.
They work or they don't work, flip them them over, isn't rocket science.

Hey girls do things daily to their rangers tooo 😜😘

Today I detailed the inside and outside of daisy duke! Spent like an hour just on my rims! Also ordered my 4 inch spindles for the front and 2 inch shackles in the back which will bring me to a total of 7 in the front and 2 in the back! As soon as my lift gets put on I will also be putting on my new swampers :) I'm a happy girl :)

Throwing a code of PO733 so tranny troubles. Showed up as a flashing O/D light on the dash but only on cold mornings, only intermittantly, and turning the truck off and restarting clears not just the O/D light but also the code. Did it this morning (17F outside) and was able to get it to the dealer and checked. Have a leaking pan gasket, a leaking external pressure hose, and the fluid smells like it may have an additive in it. Bought the truck about a year ago and have noticed the leaking but the light is new...who knows what the previous owner did or didn't do to it. Left the truck at the dealer for a power fluid flush, clean, and fill and gasket and hose replacement. Hopefully that clears up the problem and I won't have something horrible like rebuilding the tranny in my future. Mechanic says that serious problems probably would not be so intermittant and the truck wouldn't run so well and that a sticky valve in the tranny could be the culprit. Hence the clean and flush. More as this develops...

Wednesday I had a set of Goodyear Wrangler 235/75-r15 on my truck. and Today I replaced all 4 control arms, front shocks, inner and outer tie rod ends and sway bar end links took me 11 hrs to do this. I used Moog parts all but the shock and they were Gabriel ProGuard Shocks

A bird shamelessly pooped on my truck's windshield so I had to clean it before going to work. Life sucks sometimes.
