My delay wipers have gone spastic on me......but work fine on low/high speeds..
Switch...relay.....motor?....
Just looking for some intel...before I start chasing it.....
Thanks

Multi-function switch is the usual problem with any wiper issues, the turn signal stalk
The multi-function switch has 10 resistors inside, 6 for the "delay" wipers, but its usually the contacts inside that don't connect or double up, not a resistor failure, but doesn't matter, everything is replaced with new switch
And just as a heads up some don't like the bend in turn signal stalks, I have read the F-150 stalks of some years are plug and play, and have a better angle

So wipers still work on slow and fast but not intermittent?
2001 wiper diagram below, easier to read than 2003 but exactly the same wiring
The multi-function switch has the resistors inside that tell the GEM the intermittent speed
Slow and fast is a separate switch in the multi-function switch
The GEM ultimately runs the wipers but it would be a very odd failure for the GEM, never even read about that happening

Had a similar issue with my wipers.. they worked on high but wouldn't park right and stuttered on any delay setting. Replacing the motor fixed it, there's a sensor in there for if the wipers are in the parked position that was stuck on. so in delay mode the wipers pause wherever they are on the windshield instead of parking
