Ac question please help
So I have a 2002 I had the AC vacuumed and tested he said it was good had no leaks and recharge it blows really cold and good but the clutch clicks on like every eight seconds is that bad it’s about 90° here
also it was clicking on and off the clutch before I had the stystem checked by a shop when the added the Freon it seem to cycle a little less but about every 8 to 10 seconds. Is it bad to drive like that
I also have my heater bypassed because my heater coil went out I’m sure that has nothing to do with the AC though

What engine in your 2002?
The computer controls the AC Clutch just FYI
When you select anything except OFF and VENT , the switch sends the "turn ON AC" to the computer, "demand signal"
The computer then Grounds the AC Clutch relay, using the 2 Pressure switch Grounds
Computer will turn AC clutch off if engine is over heating or if you press gas pedal to the floor(WOT)
It reads like maybe a pressure switch might be acting up this would unground the AC Clutch relay, then ground it when pressure was correct again
People that refilled it should have run it long enough to see this????
Could be the AC clutch is failing, they can get an "air gap" thats too big so clutch can't hold full time
System may be overcharged, look here: AC Pressure Chart | R-134a Temperature Pressure Chart
OUTSIDE TEMP is very important when refilling an AC system, if you put too much in then when outside temp goes up, inside pressure does to, and goes TOO HIGH
And could be computer is failing, longshot
