Electrical Gremlin

I have a 95 rangerxlt 4x4 w/ auto trans. When I shift into any drive gear the radio volume is muted. In park or neutral I have sound. Also when the key is switched to accessory the sound is muted. Thanks in advance for any tips and advice.

You would have to have a Premium sound system for Factory Mute

So you have a head unit and a separate amplifier

I see a "Logic Mute" on the amplifier, it is triggered by head unit Ground, but doesn't say if Ground or no ground triggers the Mute?
I also don't see any "In gear" trigger coming into head unit?

Thanks. Strange enough this trouble fixed itself. It's been so wet here in east Pa I'm surprised anything electrical continues to function.Cheers
