Welcome to the forum
No, each computer is programmed for the engine size it will be operating, i.e. a 4 LITER engine can pull in more air that a 3 LITER engine on each RPM
The computer bases its addition of fuel on this air flow
So a 4.0l computer would cause a 3.0l engine to flood out on start up if it started at all, and if it did run it would be smoking(Rich) until it warmed up, and then set lots of codes
Fuel is NOT power, AIR is power
A 4 liter engine has more power than a 3 liter engine because it can bring in more air
A turbo charger increases power because it can FORCE in more air
Look at gas pedal and throttle plate, it doesn't add more "gas" it lets in more AIR, should have been called the "air pedal", lol
Give an engine more air and you increase power
Give an engine more fuel and it floods out
