Help diagnosing ABS issue.

I have a 2005 ford ranger edge. 3.0 2 wheel drive
My abs light and break light turn on at around 30-40
MPH and the ABS engages when i break at low
speed. And i have a code C1233 (Front left wheel
speed sensor input lost) This all occured about a
week after i replaced the break pads and rotors. So
i assumed i may have damaged the wheel speed
sensor. Today i replaced the sensor with a brand
new one, but the problem still persist. The only other
possible cause i could find on the internet was the
tone ring, wich came with my new rotors so it was
just also recently replaced. I used my code reader
to get the live data and i can see it recognises the
speed on my font left wheel, and that my abs is
actualy engaging when i break occasionaly. It just
confuses me why it says it cant find the signal while
also giving me my wheel speed. Any help is much
apreciated.

Welcome to the forum

Don't have an answer
But if it happened after changing the tone ring, and you have just replaced the sensor, then I would say the tone ring would be the bad part

ABS light is Yellow
Brake light is Red

Its normal for the yellow ABS light to come on if red brake light comes on, but not the other way around

Red brake light only comes on if Parking brake pedal is pressed down, even 1 "click", or if brake fluid is low
