No low beams. 1993 Ranger XL

Multi-switch(turn signals, wipers....).
4 wire plug for headlights showed signs of excessive heat.
Went to junkyard, found one, spliced it, now working properly.
Last week; replaced head-light switch, still no low beams. Replaced small relay in interior fuse panel. I think that is just for the hi-beam circut and other funtions( wipers, lighter plug....) because still no low-beams.
1yr ago; replaced multi-switch, lights worked properly, lasted a year. $100+ brand new. Nice to have new, tight switches for turn signals, wipers but should have replaced 4wire plug then as it showed signs of excessive heat.
3mnths ago; 2 brand new headlights, lenses and all as they both went out simultaneously. Hmmmm, electrical?
3yrs ago; low beams would occasionally go out. Would move turn signal handle around and get them to work.

Keep it simple and visually inspect.

Thanks for the help, as I hope my info helps others.

Welcome to the foum

Thanks for the info

Yes at 25+ years old wires and switches can/do wear out, thats for sure
Head lights draw ALOT of AMPs so their wires and switches often get hot, at the switch end, because each head light only gets 1/2 the AMPS, the switches have to pass ALL the AMPs, lol
