Problem with the steering wheel
So i have notice a vibration in the steering wheel when turning?
I have a 2001 XLT 4x4 off-road completely stock
When i turn to the right there is a vibration in the steering wheel, as the steering wheel starts to roll back to center when i accelerate from the turn?
I just had a new stabilizer link on the driver side put in and new ball joints about a year ago.
The truck did not do it before the link was put in but i noticed it as soon as I left the shop. I went back to the shop, they said they did not notice it when they drive it and told me it was power steering problem and would not do anything for it and was unrelated to their work and not the tires.
So, does anyone have any ideas on what it could be
Thanks

They likely got air in the PS when they installed if they turned the wheels back and forth without the engine running. Happens all the time with dumb mechanics servicing our trucks.
If so, gettign air out is easy: park on gravel, make sure the PS reservoir is filled, then turn slowly from one lock all the way to the other a few times. Then recheck PS fluid level again.
If it was me I'd also give a looky to make sure they tightened everything too and nothing was put back wrong or forgotten--might find a pair of vice grips still clamped on down there somewhere!
