How To: Hardwire a radar detector into a 2007+ Ranger

Tools needed:

• Wire taps
• Pliers

Notes: The wire colors only apply to 07+, they will be different for 98-03 and 04-06

Step 1: Mount detector



Step 2:

Run wires behind the radio

Step 3: Tap the power wire into the black wire with the blue tracer, tap the negative wire into the white wire with the blue tracer.



Step 4: Test it and your done!
