What Should ido in here? i dont have alot of money to work with with but what are some cheap mods that will make my interior look good? i have grey carpet and the interior is grey and its not installed so let me know other than that..

I say just try to clean everything up as much as you can, and have it a stock intereor... if things look too much like crap then i guess sand and paint...

go to the junk yard and nab yourself some newer door panels with switches in them....while you are there pick up a newer steering wheel and just dummy the air bag in there or wire it up (make sure you get a '97 and older)...

 

also get an Explorer center console...

 

go black get some black carpet and paint the dash and door panels that what i did

 

what do you paint it with? what do you do to prep the dash? where do you get black carpet?

 

you can get black interior paint at either AutoZone or O'Reilly Auto Parts.....

Summit has black carpet kits for $130 i think......i am getting a black carpet kit sooner or later...

 

On my last 94 I put a woodgrain bezel on the drivers side of the dash from an older truck, I liked it. I'm not a big fan of bright colors painted on the interior....old school

Wow that looks good...definitely the first I have seen.

 

SEM ladau(sp?) black is the best paint for interior plastic IMO...

Remember mine used to be gray

 

The woodgrain I had came out of an 89 xlt but I'll bet some explorers had it too.
