thanks, i'm not backing out. i've always wanted to go there. i'm in a position finally that i can afford to go and have a reliable vehicle to get me there without relying on someone driving me there.

someone posted pics of shiney tires from playing in the sand. does the sand eat away at the clear on the rims?

 

ive never damaged my polished wheels in the sand so i wouldnt worry about your clear coat on yours. the sand is pretty forgiving. but it does clean up your tires pretty good! lol

i can't remember if it was rob or justin who i was talking to about building a flag mount for my truck. i'm free from april 15 to the 20 if you want me to come over and we can fab one up. this way it'll give time to fine tune it before june.

i might not be making it because so far all of my plans and ideas are being ruined but im going to do what i can to make it down!

 

i know i am just as disappointed. it sucks but with my knee, and my truck isnt anywhere close to being done I cant see any possible way i will be there. i really want to be just too short funded...

 

we could probably find you a hover-round or a rascal to ride around in. lol

 

yeah man..hell I might be in a damn dune buggy for all I know. But I got the time off already and so does the GF so I guess I'm going either way. I will be going later in the summer and maybe a fall trip too

 

That will end up being the days that I am there too. I will be leaving between 330am and 4am on the second if you want to convoy out there. I can show you the cheap way to get through chi town.
