I've asked around about other ways to separate them, apparently that glue cannot be heated and pulled apart
I did that but when I try to bolt it up the wholes don't line up it's like the bracket doesn't sit the same way .. In the how to it said something about bending the bracket up but it didn't show a very detailed picture of what they did

Short version: My seats are wide enough that it keeps the console from moving side to side.
It wasn't completely out of laziness, I just installed the front bracket and noticed how close the seats were, then I put the other seat in to test fit and it was nice and snug.
Oh really I just got my seats headliner and armrest back today all finished so I'll try that out tomorrow and see how it feels .. My carpet kit just came in today so hopefully by the end of the weekend I'll be closer to finished with my black interior .. I did notice I missed a couple edges that I'll need to touch up later in the spring
Oh okay I'll do that thanks for all the help .. I dropped a bolt into my tranny today when I was putting my hurst shifter in so Hopefully I can get it out this weekend otherwise it looks like I'll be pulling my tranny
Yeah I got a hold of it with a magnet and then it fell of the magnet when I was trying to pull it out and I heard fall all the way down so I'm pretty sure I can get it out of the drain plug with a magnet after tranny the tranny fluid

Thanks man, I'm so glad I finally pulled the trigger on it.
My only suggestion would be doing it all in a heated garage or waiting until warmer temps, it will help the curing process

The steps are nicer than the ones that came stock on mine and the wife is glad I have them. Another bonus is that if I ever double lift the steps will help hide the frame
I bet a fabricator could make a set work for the Ranger. That would be pretty sweet.
Awesome build thread, I've always liked your truck. Very tough looking yet refined. Are you using the stock fog light reflectors? and how're the coilovers working out for ya? Been wanting to do that myself for some time now but I'd doubt my welding abilities on potholes and stuff
