BTW d44's have 3-4" wider spring perch mounts, so you'll have to re-do your xmember and shackle hangers...

Rerard on ORR took out his 8.8 and put in a 9", and he has no speedo...

It's true. Late model Rangers adjust the speedo electronically. The adjustment changes when you're in 4Lo vs xHi. The sensor on my t-case has broken twice now. When in 4Lo the truck doesn't know it half the time and the speedo is off. What's even funkier is when the truck thinks it's in 4Lo and it's actually in 2Hi!
In fact Bob and John discussed this when you raised this issue in this thread!
IIRC Rerard has an older (pre ~'01) truck.

Yup 6 lug.
Are ya'll on crack? Thats green not grey wtf? Its an olive green. Caliper brackets are black and the diff cover will be black after i weld the hydro steer tabs on it.
My local shop, Mild 2 Wild 4x4 Customs, is drilling/tapping the box. On monday i'm picking it up with tabs and the hydro ram.
Here is his YJ. Dana 60 front, 14 bolt rear. Front leafs, rear quarter eliptical. chevy 350 propane injected. 44x18.50 Ground hawgs grooved/sipped on 15x12 trail-ready beadlocks.
His buggy in progress. Blue torch fusion chassis stretched and widened. Volvo portal axles. Irok's on 20" trail-ready beadlocks. chevy 350.
My friend jonathans ZJ. His 60 with the truss, coil buckets, and lower link tabs all tacked on. Sitting with the springs in place, sort of, we still need to move the upper buckets to the rear.
Now my shiat.
My axle is now fully assembled except for the steering and the hydro steer tabs on the diff cover.

I would paint the axle the baby blue, like Bob did his. That seems a very Ford color.. That would be slick..
Edit: Never finished this thought! That should say '..like Bob did his traction bars'. I don't think he has a solid axle up front.. yet!
