For a long time I've wanted to see a 5.4L swap into a Ranger, can't think of a better truck it should be done too. I wish buying a wrecked 5.4L vehicle here didn't cost so much or I would be right behind you. Please keep us updated, these kind of projects make me giggle like a school girl, good luck zabeard and NicksterSVT, couldn't pick a better duo.

So when does the start date look like it is going to be? And completion?? Cool thing is you can part out the Navi when you are done to get some extra cost back out of it!!

Any reason for wanting the 4V and not a "simple" 3v with a roushcharger kit on it. Oh wait that would be easy and you are Zach, lol. I guess they make SCer kits for the 4V too (mustangs). Nice find. I wish you lived closer to FL so I could watch the progress.

The neighborhood wasnt too bad, we didnt have too much trouble, it could have been worse I suppose. LOL

I think the supercharger is spoken for so you would be 3rd in line? I dont know when all this will be for sale. (time wise)

it should be going in unless we hit some horrible road block! lol (then cut and hack some more)

I hope to have the Navigator down there this summer. Then the ranger before next winter. Depends on cash flow, and time off.

ah I dont know for sure, besides the 3v is in the 04+ which they made even different wiring changes, atleast with this around 2000 some of the wiring might be similar to the ranger/explorer. The 3v motor only makes 10 more hp and I am sure when we are done with the motor that we will get over 10 more hp and TQ.

I want it to be over 400 ft/lbs of TQ, so we will see what we can do.
