92 Ranger Build
That would have been priceless! Lol i haven't even taken those things outta there case! I think i should wear them at the desert meet!
Ok so Dave has just informed me that the bedcage is nearing completion and that i should be able to pick it up on wednesday! Then im gonna order my shocks then im picking up the rear end lower shock mount plates shackles and deavers next weekend!
Ok so we went out to perris today to pick up my bedcage from threat motorsports. Well we got it but on the way home my truck started smelling funny and sparks were flying out of my front left fender well so we pulled over to the side of the freeway and checked it out. It was my a/c pulley and it was as red as a cherry lollipop. Apparently the bearing had gone out and we were running the heater and it totally fried it. Well we turned off the pump and milked it home so now my truck sits at home waiting for hopefully just a new pulley but we got the bedcage! Heres the pics:

I wasn't the one that wanted it on 3.0 backfire aka lance was cold. i was rolling with my window down!
Ok so me and lance installed the deavers and shackles plus we flipped the stock hangers and bolted them back on here are some pics.
OOOOO look at the beautiful rainbow!

And now the cutting! Lance and power tools uh oh...

And heres the holes we cut for the new shackles.

Tight fit!...... Thats what she said!

And the piece o crap leaf springs!

Ill get some updated pics of the rear suspension tomorrow.

Had to back the baby out:

My truck first time in the garage lol:

Talk about cutting it close lol.

Beginning of the light install. I welded the tabs for it and no im not taking pictures of my welds lol.

New front lights wired up. Older kc 100watters got 4 of them and the dust lights for 65 bucks!

Here is a night shot with my dust lights and new led brake lights installed and on!

Just the brake lights:

So thats pretty much what ive been up to and me and lance have been practice welding so im hopefully getting better. Its kinda hard since we are using a stick welder lol but hey gotta start somewhere.

So been getting better at welding and got one of the other lights on the front bumper only to realize that i ran out of tabs so i gotta get some more tomorrow and weld it on so i can mount all four lights on the front lol its gonna be bright!

No money for shocks right now gotta save up for other things. I would have some shocks for it but people flake and im just gonna buy new which is gonna be expensive. But nonetheless its there to look good and hold my lights for now.
just finished swapping in the rear axle and new shocks. Shes finally done in the rear. Its a mid travel rear. Ill get pics tomorrow. Only thing i need to work on is the tune up this weekend then its gonna be a dry spring break which means no updates till june.
Ok so heres some updates foos! Anyways im working on some fiberglass plugs for my rear lights so i can make my own and still be able to remove them if the need ever arises. Heres the progress on that:

Thats just a mock up to see if the mold i made outta fiberglass would fit, and so far its good just need to add another layer of fiberglass and then lay some bondo on it and paint it.
And the 8.8 on its way to the school.

Here is a comparison side shot. The pinion flange actually had to be changed to a companion flange to bolt it to my truck.

Who took my axle!?

Painted the drums!

New axle under the truck. We tried to measure the travel but we topped the jack out.

So thats pretty much it other than the tune up this weekend. Gonna be a dry spring break guys!
