Well here are some progress shots of today. My jackstand decided it wanted to cut the tip of my thumb off so it collapsed on me and took it down to it hanging on its skin and then somehow the air hammer turned on and hammered my leg and i think dented my shin. Oh and to top it off it rained on me today and the only place i could hide was under my flared fender well! But i got the radius arms on and now its time to deal with that damn death wobble lol.

Getting the new mid travel suspension in a few days hopefully ill post some pics when i get my hands on it. But it consists of 4.5" over beams hiemed radius arms and tierod sleeves. Im super stoked to get that new wide stance and maybe deal with my camber issue.

 

So the guy has been running into some problems and hasn't gotten the suspension off yet but heres some pics of it on his truck!

Thanks i already have like three people coming over lol. Im gonna try and get everything on and ready by 4 o clock tomorrow lol. Gonna be full mid travel. And then in a few months get a engine cage and some coilovers!!!

Just got done tearing the suspension apart. Next is to get the new bushings pressed in then start bolting stuff up!!!!!!

 

Finished everything up awhile ago but i had to head out to barstow to test it. When josh posts some pics and video ill post them in here. But here is an updated pic of the front end.

 

So here is how shes sits till this weekend. Same suspension just dialed in properly.




Pretty much what is in the works for this weekend are new radius arms. I'm gonna start designing and cutting stuff out on friday since i got the day off and hopefully finish welding them on sunday. We will see how things go. I will take pictures of the process and keep everything updated as I go. Also in the next month or two I will be designing a new set of beams to go along with the radius arms. Wish me luck!

Well it looks like im picking up my 305 this weekend. So maybe in a month or so my truck might have a new engine.

Cause im getting the engine and trans for free and it is already built.

 

Cancel the chevy lol. Mu buddy got cold feet and doesn't want to pull it yet so since i need an engine for my truck im pulling it this weekend and getting a 302. No computer or anything so it will be an easy swap. Pics to follow as the engine gets pulled. I start tomorrow!

 

Go damn. Engine is still running so im not gonna pull it till it seizes up, thats the plan. Hopefully im gonna be jumping on some coilovers that went up for sale on DR and then building the engine cage and redoing the rear bedcage to accommodate no bed.

I have been really busy helping my buddy do his truck, here is a updated shot of his. Its a 85 toyota fully caged and has a total chaos front end uniballs.

 

So got some work done and removed the bed completely that thing was falling apart. Getting everything prepped for the full rear cage. Here is a single shot.


Gonna start prepping the frame tomorrow and then going to buy the tubing for it also. Ill post some awesome paint shop pics of what im gonna do with the rear cage.

Lol when i get the suspension that can keep up with a faster motor i will put in a bigger engine. For now im off to sand the frame!
