So the truck doesn't run, engine is in pieces, what would the average person do? New wheels and tires! :-) HA!

Those are some good looking wheels. I see too many trucks with gaudy wheels these days, but those look great.

No photo, but I picked up the rotating assembly from the machine shop today... it balanced up nicely! Now the fun can begin, assembly!

Nice! I remember when I picked my engine up from the shop. It was like Christmas morning for a 5 year old lol

The bedsides are Glassworks. They are their standard 7-inch flare with the vent molded in.

Been a while since the last update... I haven't stopped working on the truck, just haven't has as much forum time these days.

The big progress is that the forged rotating assembly is all together, with the pistons, rods, and crank secured in the block. Heads are ordered and should arrive in a couple weeks. Dropped my donor Mountaineer off at the recyclers (good riddance). And moved the Ranger into the garage where surgery to remove some excess fat and the old drive train has begun. Good times!
