First connector looks like an O2 connector, you have two O2 sensors in a 1994 V6
BUT..........it could also be the connector for the automatic transmission, and if you have a manual trans then it wasn't plugged in to anything, but usually had a cover plug on it

Yes, not all pins were used, installed, on the large round connector

Does that mean that that connector is bad if the pins wernt all their? or you just saying that since its a manuel maybe not all the pins were needed their that might of been needed for a automatic?

???

The larger connector was used on several models not just Ranger, so not all connections are used

The smaller connector MIGHT be for an automatic transmission
