97 ranger hard start problems
hey everyone i have a 1997 ford ranger 4banger obviously haha but when its cold it starts up without a problem when it gets warmed up it will take a minute to crank over and then slowly rev up to speed. had alot of comments about it some saying crank sensor some saying icv valve but i replaced the icv and still does it. i did get a comment about it maybe being one of my coil packs but idk any ideas?

Put a pressure guage on the fuel rail , start the truck and note the reading . Shut the engine off and see if the pressure drops quickly to zero. If it does you probably have an injector stuck open and it is dripping raw fuel into the intake.
After the engine sits for a few hours , the fuel evaporates.
