got wheels and tires finally! also bought today the drive shaft of a Nissan pathfinder we just need to change its length.

i did finally get the maxxis creepy crawler 37x12.5x15 and on a side note i got away with 15" rims on the dana 44 without issues witht he calipers! its a really tight fit but its ok for now ill get wheel spacers later when i get the money. ill upload a pic of the wheels i found.. they need paint .. desperatly. they are going black

but if everything goes as planned next weekend i should be giving its first test drive and the next weekend probably first wheeling trip to test lockers and the new supension!!!!

fianlly some pics.

truck is done, i only need to get one hose done on the shop as the rubber one might get cut, for the turbo that the line hits with were the steering passes. also on monday i get my rear wheel spacers i need to fit my new rims. when i get more cash ill get the front ones made (2")

and i need to get new bleeding screws for the calipers, both are busted, so hopefully tomarrow ill get them..

onto pics!

im painting the rims either black or some really dark grey not sure, or maybe something weird or leave them as they are for a few weeks probably haha

That steering sure is different. Interested to see how that works out for you. But I like it. Also, I want that front bumper for some reason lol.

nice work, just be carefull with the tab welded on the link for your steering, on extreme effort either the weld or the lower bar can brakeor bend. You could find a highsteer knuckle to correct it, we had the same trouble on my boss wife truck with the soa and put a REID knuckle on it to address the steering problem.

yeah thats an thing ive asked the mech. but it was done on another shop and guarantee it will hold on, still need to get the truck running and fix any issues.. and he also tells me his other trail truck its the same so it should hold.... still gone go and test the truck out this weekend to see how it performs to see if anything has to be changed...

all before the 25th of this month for the trip...

Cycling the steering box takes time, make sure you spend the time to fully bleed it or its gonna be a b!tch to turn and will feel sloppy!

finally took the truck to a lil test drive.

Steering sucked... Lol. But bad, alligment, 1 completly busted ball joint, and serious shaking of everything. But were getting new high steer knuckle tomarrow.
Also the steering wheel-steering box shaft when u turned it hit the firewall. So that sucked, but its hammered off the way now. So tomarrow steering should be perfect

also, the 4.56 gears did great with the 37.

Locker did great, lsd front did great

suspension pretty soft almost stock, maybe nicer (also the eextra rubber helps i guess )

ive got a vid testing the locker on some steep soft soil hill with big tracks. Had no problem got a bad vid that i cant upload from my cell now, ill do it tomaroww and some finished pics also.

Dam its really a beast cant wait to go weeling now
