fishy2k8 05-20-2009 09:38 AM

if you cut your coils now for a 2" drop you are going to be at a 5" drop up front when u buy the lowering beams.

Smakes 05-20-2009 09:41 AM

Not necessarily, James (FX2.3) is pretty happy with his 2" drop, and I think I'm gonna keep mine at 4/5. Initially, yeah, I wanted about another 3" lower, but now, after driving it at this level for 60k miles, I think it looks just right on mine.

Thats said, I'm body dropping another one of my projects.

fishy2k8 05-20-2009 02:26 PM

if u dont have a k code truck (factory splash springs) then the 3" drop up front is hardly slammed. yeah its low but not too low.

Smakes 05-20-2009 03:30 PM

do you have any more pictures of your truck?

Yep, I like being able to change my oil without a ramp and still hop some curbs while being sporty with good mpg!
