Why in gods name are you going to lock the front axle if your not going to go off-road?

well the way i think about it..is..if im goin through the trouble and the money to do this to my truck..i might as well go that step to have the power upfront..incase i ever needed it..just so i can have the 4 wheel pull i guess..

it wouldnt hurt would it..just the money out of my pocket correct?

Well if you run a big *** tire and you lock the front end, you are going to have to build it up to suit the tire size or you will break something if it's all stock ****, even if your just in the mud.

CTM's yes 35 spline doenst fit a D44 with out some major custom work

Id go with Longfield 300m joints over CTM as they are only 140 each instead of the 250 or so for a CTM

No, thats the d60 in the xj, 35 spline 60.

my 8.8 is 31. 44 is 30.

Yes, evan, comparable to mine is at least what you are going to need.

I've beat the ever living **** out of my yukon shafts and CTM's and have had no problems so all I can do is recommend them with personal experiece.
