ok so i would put the new hub/ wheel bearing assebly on the knuckle, put the cv axle in the dif. and slide through the hub assembly, and then put the snap ring on then the pvh ?

if they are spinning does that mean the bearings are bad?

any reccomendations for brands for both?

If the cv joints are spinning while its in 2wd then your hubs are not disengaing properly and as far as wheel bearing reccomendations id go with timiken bearings. You could also get rugged ridge hubs that you manulally lock and unlock.
