I thought the fox 2.0's with the right diameter coils were a direct swap, minor clearance/grinding issues at worst.

Check the RCD Coilover thread bro!

We've dug up ALOT of info and posted it there.

i beleive it's something with the upper or lower shock mount clearance and the fact that the mounting holes are a 1/4" larger on the fox's than the bilstien's so you have to get/make some bushing spacer or modify the mounting holes/mounting hardware.

i think that's what the two issues are. i've heard they are tight to to the half shafts though.

i'll be figuring out first hand very soon since i need both sides done.....like yesterday

one blown front shock, both coils are junk, the front end literally sit's 2"+ lower than it did when i got it 1 1/2 years ago up front.

both rears must be bone dry b/c one was slowly leaking forever then just stopped one day and the other one just coated the driveway after sitting for a week after a 'fun run'. the rear end likes to kick out at @40mph on slick, bumpy roads that it use to be glued to in the same conditions. i gotta figure out the extended/compressed measurements on the rears. i was thinking maybe 7100's this time around.

i was thinking about the 2.5's just to run a res. shock. gotta get the larger diameter coils though and worry about clearance issues.

i seen guys with xploders do it.

you gotta get the increased length shocks, longer coils/dual coil setup.
