LCA bolts

Hello everybody, hope somebody can point me in the right direction. My son has an 01 xlt 4x2 and I am replacing the front end. I ended up having to cut out the cam bolt on the passenger side lower control arm. Not having any luck finding a replacement and the dealership don’t open till Monday, even if they can get it anymore. Anybody know of where to locate said bolt? Thanks

I know cam bolts are on the upper control arms. Ford used a cam bolt on the lower control arm on the passenger side towards the back. The other bolts in the LCA are a normal bolt with a nut welded to a bracket that locks into the frame. The bracket on the frame is also slotted. This bolt is about 6” long.
Update I got lucky and managed to find one at a local salvage yard that slipped right out.

Never ran into that bolt, or wasn't paying attention when I did :)

I know this is a older thread but just wanted to let yall know for anybody that may come across this thread while searching.

When I was doing my suspension rebuild on my 01. I came across this bolt the OP speaks of, but I didn't notice it was a cam bolt until after I removed it with my impact destroying it. I searched all over for a new one and couldn't find much. The ones I did find for the Ranger they wanted $35 for. Did a little more research and found that F150 had this same bolt, ordered one off eBay for like $7-8. Have yet to install it but its identical to the one I removed.

Ill have to get the part number off the bolt when I get home.

Wayne

Curious

I’m curious if Wayne had success with the F150 bolt, and could post the part number if he knows it.

Does anyone know the part number or a aftermarket replacement?
