more paint. ill be finishing it up in the next couple days. just gotta tape off the cover so i can get everything else without any over spray.

A 9" is a third member axle. The housing and "cover" are integral, the chunk comes out the front of the axle.

what does this have to do with my thread? not getting a 9", if and when i do change out the rear, its gonna be for a rear d44

why would you put a d44 in when the 8.8 is stronger?

same lug pattern, 5.38s, full spool. it hasnt given the owner of it now any problems with 38x16x15s any problems for the last year of beating hes given it.

I wouldn't run a 44 rear. The 8.8 is alot stronger. Find a 31 spline with discs for cheap, weld the carrier and get some good shafts and you can forget about it.
