Good Subs?!

I wanted to know what are good subs for 125 and less.
I like the Pioneer TS-W252R at 12 inches. Its 89 bucks...
Anyone have this sub or anyother subs that are better than it for around the same price?
I already have my amp and deck picked out, along with the wires. I just need my sub.

i have a similar sub its the pioneer premeir 12 and its hooked to a 1000 watt kenwood amp btw i only paid 69 for my sub
i built the box to spec sealed of course and it pounds pretty hard

it hits hard enough to make empty cans vibrate outa the cup holders and the back window flex pretty good

How did you get it for only 69? Thats insane for a premier... I am only getting a 500 watt amp.

Alrighty, I think I will stick with the Champion, that should work to the best of its ability with the Alpine M500 right?

yea its all personal preference and the box if you build a perfect box it will sound amazing but if you use a premade generic box it wont sound as well

Nice, well Malydeen has a box he is giving me in exchange for a new harness. So technically its a custom box for only 15 bucks haha.
So far my total is only 330 without my deck from LordofWar. Idk his selling price yet for his old deck. It looks sweet and has an aux plug for my iPod. I found all cables in a junk yard for free. All in perfect condition too. I was one lucky b@sterd.

Nice, I was scared when I saw all my friends systems and they said like 500-600 yet they didnt buy used or find any cables... But then again, they all have 2 12 inchers. I think I am going with a 10 since it will be right behind my drivers seat and its a small area in my truck like everyone elses. I just dont think I need a 12

I dont know how much mine costs retail, but I got a Kicker CompVR 12" for $20. That with a 500w amp blows the doors off my truck, lol

EDIT: I actually have 2 CompVRs but I only use one. I might be willing to make a deal

I actually might get the premier 10 because I think I will have enough to buy it, but the sub I will buy last. Either the Champion 10 or Champion Premier 10

I have some MTX Road Thunder 10" Subs that are 16 years old. Bought them both off of my neighbor for $10. Still work great!

Plus their prices are pretty high. Just get your sub from Woofersetc.com the online car audio super store, the largest selection at the lowest prices!. Much better place.

I have Exile's in mine and there by far the best ive ever heard, other than that I would go with Image Dynamics or JL's. I called Exile cause theres no dealers around here and they gave me a killer deal. You pay for what you get into sound equipment, im not about alot of bass, just good sound. I have a sundown amp also. After this setup im will never go cheap on audio equipment again...

****, that makes me skeptical about getting one 10 then.
Would one 12 make it better? I can only afford one sub now, but what sounds better?
