Hi guys -

New to the forum here - and need some advice about step bars. I just bought my son an 01 Ranger XLT 4dr for his first truck. The guy I bought it from had a couple of step bars from a similar truck (I think he said it was a 99 or an 02 I don't remember) that he threw in with the purchase. When I went to hook them up the backs fit in fine but the brackets that hold the front of the bars are not present on the frame. I've searched the internet high and low and went to the few junkyards in my area and I can't find these anywhere. Does anyone here maybe have a set that they would be willing to part with (for cash money of course) or have been in a similar jam and maybe has some advice on how to get around this? I could probably fabricate something or tack weld bolts onto the frame, but was just curious as to what my options are here. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I believe these are the brackets I'm looking for:
