ive put 18.89 gallons in mine before drove almost 350 miles.

my friend has a 04 level2, he put just over 20 gallons in once. needless to say he prolly barly made it to the pump.

it all depends on the pump you go to also. sometimes they turn off early.

i wouldnt run it till its empty, thats not good to do.

the manual tells you what size you have.

and super cabs are always 19.5 gallons. that is the biggest

OBDII requires full range misfire detection. Ford wants to be sure that most drivers never run out of gas which could possibly set a misfire code. When that happens, Ford pays for totally unnecessary warranty work.

Remember also that new Rangers come with 3/36000 Roadside Assistance which includes help if you run out of gas.

IMO, those are the 2 reasons why you get the low fuel warning and empty gauge reading so early - roughly 3.5 gallons before empty on a nominal 19.5 gallon tank.

LOL yea a little thing called a Vin # might pull up only EVERYTHING you might need to know lol. As long as it's stock and hasn't been changed from factory parts it will tell you the specifications of the vehicle. But I will say I heard there's more spots than just inside the door that it may be. I haven't ever looked into it bc ive never had to find it anywhere else so it could be false, I have no idea.
