Silver dip is where it's at.

x3 for silver

If they don't make silver dip, could you mix black and white dip?

Awesome! Forum peer pressure for the win. what size did you go with? I have a bunch of tuning to do on my coilovers, let me know what you end up with for tuning.

I have no idea if they make silver plastidip, but I'm sure the kids on FRF would know.

I heard buying two gallons worth of any Plastidip product gets you a lifetime contributor status over on FRF.

Lol. You guys and your dip fantasies.

I just talked to Ben at filthy and he's going to put the order in with King, but he said unless King recommends something different I'll end up with a 200/300 spring rate. 2-3 week wait though :(

They all secretly love the dip lol

Dang that's a little bit of a wait but just think about the ride quality difference

You sound like me. "I probably should just do "x" since it's cheaper and will get the job done..." Goes all out and buys the best and most expensive option.

It's going to be nice though!

King builds all shock specific to the customer's need so they aren't in stock to just ship out, so I gotta wait for them to build my order. That's too bad though cause I'm not the waiting type. If only Amazon prime sold them.

Apparently I was blessed with expensive taste.

I just don't wanna put it back together and be disappointed, I want to put it back together and see a noticeable difference in the steering, ride quality, and overall performance. I've got the time so I just keep telling myself to do it the best I know how (and can afford) and to not rush it.

What made you decide to go with king over fox or Saws? 2-3 weeks seems like a long wait.

Price and convenience. In most cases the King's were cheaper, I like the fact that they will take my specific truck into account and valve and spring accordingly. I'll have a completely assembled shock show up and if the spring rate isn't to my liking they'll exchange them for no charge. Since this is my first go with coilovers I wasn't confident choosing my own springs.

Just a tiny update. Got the passenger side hoop cut off and then got the painted steering links on just to look at it. Don't have a whole lot I can do till I get the shocks. Gotta cut the driver's side hoop off and order the new hoops but that's about it.

Yup. The only girly feature it has is power steering.
