Seems like the drivers side would be tight and you have to watch the fuel lines and such.
yeah but with that mentality, might as well go with the radius arms

f*ck the exhaust. cut it off!

exhaust seems like such a minor hurdle for a much better supsension setup

Ah, see Zach, there's where we were on different pages. Having a 'third link' on the passenger side to go to the lower link would make it a radius arm setup over a (true) 3-link if anything.

My thoughts were along those lines as well..

Haha.. that's the road I'm heading towards. Depending on when I am ready for my coil swap it all may work out because the only factor keeping me from cutting out the exhaust is I have my every-other-year smog check coming up in July. So after that point I'll be all well and good.

no real progress tonight. although i spent 4 hours on it.

burnt myself in several places too. i cut the inside of the frame rail out, ground that all smooth and have been trying to jamb a 8" long 2x4 .25" wall tube in there. its not working as well as planned.

the tube has a piece of 1.5x.5 strap that runs down through the center of it so that it cant be crushed. this is going in place where the steering box is mounted.

no pics.

oh and i might have ruined my condenser, its bee a fun night! ha!

that is what i keep thinking! too much work and no progress in the last few days.

i dont really care for the condenser so it was not really a loss. lol I am sure i will need it when i have frost on the windows in the winter though.

on the bright side my 1330 yoke came in today. just need to get that D60 socket. they didnt send it in the box ?

If you don't mind me asking, what did the fuel cell run you, dimensions, and gallons?
