Icon5 Instrument Cluster

I have a 2000 Ford Ranger 5 spd with no tach. Will a cluster from the same year, with a tach from an automatic work?

Yes, tach signal is at the cluster so will be plug and play

The Automatic cluster will need to have the Shift Position part at the bottom removed

It was just a plug and play. The speedometer/odometer had the same part number as the one that i got on the other cluster. Just ended up swapping them out so i had the right milage and i knew my speedometer worked. Thanks for the tip!

RonD helped me out a week or so back about interchangeability of the gauge clusters, after he reviewed the data, he affirmed that I could use a '99 Gauge Cluster without a Tach in an '03 Ranger with a Tach. I am finishing up a Gauge Face Replacement and then Plug it in !

The 5 sp Cluster has a blank off to either replace or block the Letter Gear Indicator used in the automatic Cluster... If your Cluster has one it may interchange with the Auto Clusters.

Plug it in, note any problems !
