another question about my POS 95 2.3L! in the last 2 or 3 weeks i have had the check eng light 2 times, each time i have puuled the air tube off and had to drain oil from the piece between the cover vent tube and the throttle body. commonly i see oil on the engine side of that vent tube aswell, its obvious that its from there.. why would SO much oil come from it...probably about 1/4 quart over 2-250 miles, occasionally itll bog down and smoke but ha only happened 2 times total, other than that its just a typical underpowered turd!..thanks

 

Change the PCV valve . It may be sticking closed and allowing too much pressure buildup and allowing oil to pass by to the intake.
Also the drain-back oil passages from the head to the crankcase may be full of sludge and not letting the oil go down where it needs to.

 

use some spray brake cleaner
spray inside the little pcv valve hole and shake it for several minutes

keep doing it until the check ball rattles freely
( until you can purchase a new 1 )

 

where th ehell is this valve! haynes manual says its by the oil collector ( left side of eng) problem is i dont know where that is! any pics out there to walk me on? thanks again guys
