Basically....if things happen now, I'm in. If they wait two months, I'm not. Obviously I'm not calling the shots here. I'd just take the brackets though if they were available and buy my own hardware. But due to my alignment issues I can't just sit on the problem until spring.

Also, it's getting effing cold. And soon there will be feet of snow. easier to deal with now haha.

I'm on the same boat as Aaron. We aren't rushing you, we're just wanting to fix the issues on our trucks and if I can get mine made at an earlier time elsewhere, I will.

No problem guys. I just need to know who is in and who is out before I make a move on it.

Like I said, if I get the ball rolling now, it's going to be a 6-8 week turn around complete. I could just get brackets if people want them, You'd probably be looking right around $200 for raw, uncoated brackets, with no hardware, and I should be able to have them in 3-4 weeks. I just have to double check with the shop on the cost and time.

I'd be fine with just brackets and trusses!! I have a powder coater and hardware is a dime a dozen a list of hardware needed would be nice if you do the run for brackets only

X3 I can get them powder coated and all the bolts here. So the bracket and trusses will work for me.

Can I pay for final measurements/angles? I have access here in town to a guy with a machine that can cut it out for me. All he needs are the measurements/angles and there are several different plans I've seen on here.

I'd be good with just the bracket. Should we make a new list or continue off the other one?

He said a page ago he's not able to offer the kit, it comes with brackets and hardware. Coils you have to buy separately.
He might be able to offer a reduced kit that has brackets but you buy the hardware AND coils. There are numerous threads on this that cover what hardware to use.

I see 10 sets...I need to get at least half of them paid to get the run going, only because I don't have the money to front for this at the moment. PM me for payment info. Paypal is prefered.

I'll start having the next batch run, and update on ETA for completion as I get the info.

I'm planning on just doing grade 8 zinc hardware for this run, because the price of the stainless hardware seems to have gone up, unless anyone really feels the need for the stainless. The grade 8 is actually stronger, so something to consider.

Pricing is the same as the last run, which is nice.

Kit with powdercoated brackets: $290
Kit with raw brackets: $270

Shipping:
$11 continental US
$28 Canada

Kit includes:
4 brackets (2 upper, 2 lower)
4 gussets to reinforce shock tower
2 shock tower spacers for upper mounts
8 rod end spacers (for 1/2" wide rod ends)
all hardware to install

Here is a list of bolts I used on my Coil-Over Bracket Conversion.
Not sure if the new brackets will use exactly the same ones but I would thing they would.

Coil-over Conversion
Bolt List

Bolts:
◊ 4- 1/2"x3" (shock bolts)
◊ 4- 1/2"x1.25 (upper bracket drilled holes through back)
◊ 2- 1/2"x2.25 (upper shock mount through top)
◊ 8- 3/8"x1.25 (lower bracket)

Washers:
◊ 20 - 1/2 Grade 8 Flat Washers
◊ 16 - 3/8 Grade 8 Flat Washers

Lock Nut – Metal:
◊ 10 - 1/2 Grade 8 Metal Lock Nuts
◊ 8 – 3/8 Grade 8 Metal Lock Nuts

ALL HARDWARE SHOULD BE GRADE 8

ALSO:
Here is a write that was done back in 2009-2010 !
( I do not remember who did the write up but I didin’t ! )
Not sure if it fully applies to your needs but I hopeit will help:

My Coilover Swap has begun!!!!

As some of you know, I’m Super-lifted and I hate Torsion Bars. I decided today was a good day to call up RCD and buy some hardware to do the swap. I got everything i need on order and I’m excited; my coil-over swap is now OFFICIALLY in PROGRESS.

Here is a little bit of info on what i ordered here:

Driver Side:
Upper 20-52498-9
Lower 20-52498-11
2 Gussets 20-52498-17
Spacers 20-833167

Passenger Side:
Upper 20-52498-9
Lower 20-52498-12
2 Gussets 20-52498-17
Spacers 20-833167

Cost me about 185 bucks for all of the RCD stuff.

Now its time to order the 12" 750# Hyper-Coils and Fox Shocks and here is the specs of the Shocks ill be getting:

The 2.0x6.5 shock from Fox:

Shock Travel: 6.50"
Extended Length: 19.35"
Collapsed Length: 12.85"
Shaft size is: 5/8"
Fox Part #: 980-99-001A

Update:

Just out of curiosity I got a hold of RCD today to see about basically getting the shocks and mounting brackets. They were more than happy to sell me everything I needed (a little fibbing doesn't hurt). I figured I'd share the part numbers with you guys.

Driver Side:
Upper 20-52498-9 $38.49
Lower 20-52498-11 $41.29
2 Tabs 20-52498-17 $6.04
Passenger Side:
Upper 20-52498-9 $38.49
Lower 20-52498-12 $41.29
2 Tabs 20-52498-17 $6.04
Shocks 20-52498-25 $600 (for both)
He said total shipped to me $820 give or take a few dollars.
Eibach 750# spings EIB-12002500750 $150 (for both)

The only issue with the shocks is that they can't sell them without the springs because of some agreement with Bilstein. The reason I call this a "problem" is that boomin has shown that the 600# springs they have are too light for the v8 4 door. Let me know what you guys think of this as a feasible option to rid myself of t-bars.

PS How are those 750# springs working out for you boomin?

Just another tidbit of info for everyone on here.

The RCD (Bilstein) shocks measure out at:
Collapsed 14.625
Extended 19.125
Spring 12" 600#

So all this being said here's what I'm thinking.......
A pair of Fox 2.0X6.5 shocks $220 ea (ebay) (19.35 ex -12.85 col)
A pair of Hypercoil 12" 750# $60 ea (wherever)
All the brackets from RCD $170ish

No more t-bars for $730ish. Am I missing anything here?

Shocks - The fox 2.0X6.5 are the ones that work for our use. They're a little longer extended, and a little shorter compressed than the Bilstein ones that come with the RCD kit.

The 2.0x6.5 shock from Fox:

Shock Travel: 6.50"
Extended Length: 19.35"
Collasped Length: 12.85"
Shaft size is: 5/8"
Fox Part #: 980-99-001A

The 2.0x8.5 shock from Fox:

Shock Travel: 8.50"
Extended Length: 23.35"
Collasped Length: 14.85"
Shaft size is: 5/8"
Fox Part #: 980-99-002A

**(Pay attention to part numbers in bold)**

If this info is a dup sorry, I didn’t read all of the info because I did my Coil-Over Setup a while back.

Grev,

That list is pretty close. The only difference is I used 3/8" through the back of the upper mount, just like the bolts for the bottom mount.

Also, I have shorter 1/2" bolts to avoid them sticking out any further than necessary. There should be minimal threads sticking past each of the nuts.

At any rate, the kit includes the hardware, so people really don't need to worry about it.

I should also note that I have almost 40,000 miles on mine now with no issues at all.

OK on the changes.
I didn’t read evert post, too many since I already have this completed.
I just read a few of them and got the idea there was no its available anymore, too bad, and there night be no info on the simple things.
I hoped this can help someone but you have a new list and from what you are saying it has changed for the better.

Good luck on the Coil-Over Setups, mind is working well, good solid feel in the corners.
