So this is my first post here, hi fellas! I'm running a '98 Explorer and wanted to order a set of these. Seeing as how things for the older trucks keep getting discontinued, it's awesome to see someone that has stepped up to the plate and kept these brackets available.

Sign me up for an uncoated kit please! Or powdercoated, if you don't have any raw ones. Hopefully there is an unclaimed set. I can make the payment as soon as you want it.

Just in case ME00Stepside doesn't have any more sets, I'm willing to purchase anyone's set who decides they don't want to do the conversion

Hey guys,

Sorry for anyone who has tried to PM me with no luck. You can email me at sbeau1@metrocast.net

I'm out of town, but I have to find the Paypal transaction for my subscription renewal because the admins couldn't find it, so my account is not reflecting a paid subscription.

OK guys, you need to copy the list from the last post it is in and add yourself. I'm losing track because it keeps getting left on old pages. If you're in on this, and your name isn't on the list, please add it.:

07fx4II (3 sets)
Grumpy
timbits588
Red_Ak_Ranger
getrdone52
Clinton
moonliteshawn
Pat Fox
ShadowRanger08
Neo
springtown fx4
obie
atrocity

Right now, I'm gonna say anyone else on the list will end up being on the next round. I have to talk to the shop and see how many pieces they managed to get cut. I am supposed to be picking up a bunch tomorrow. I still have to have stuff powdercoated, and order the hardware. The top spacers are aluminum this time, so raw kits should end up getting sent out soon!

If you haven't paid, now is a good time to get your payments in.

I'll keep you posted!

Sorry about that. And I just realized I read the wrong post and only sent you the money for the $11 shipping, I just sent you the extra $5.

I have the DFX files for the upper and lower conversion brackets for anyone who wants them. Rather than spending all the money to buy them from someone I can just send you the file so you can send it to your local shop and have them made yourself for about 1/4 of the cost of buying them from someone. If you would like the file just PM me and I will send the drawings to you. I know there is a lot of people that have the ability to get them made or make them themselves but don't have the dimensions to make the drawings so I'm doing this just to help out and save anyone the trouble and some money.

P.S. to the people that I asked to help out by giving me the dimensions or drawings to have them made and even offered to pay for the dimensions and wanted to be rude about it thankfully i was able to get the information on my own and I wasn't gonna post this information to the public because I know y'all make them for extra money but since you wanted to be a**holes I'm giving the drawings to anyone who wants them for free. So f*** y'all. Have a nice day.

LOL Wonderful way to act. Ever think the reason people may not want to help you - is due to your attitude?

Hopefully people will see the way you act, and still decide to support a REAL member in ME00Stepside - who put actual work into the brackets & provided valuable information & feedback to other members.

Sometimes it's not about the money - it's about the product & service.

No problem, and I got the other $5.

As for b_durand94, if everyone who doesn't give you what you want is an @sshole, you must meet a lot of them in your life. You must be miserable.
You know I was very polite in how I declined your request, and explained my reasons for not sharing my files. I even answered your questions afterward. Time for you to grow up, bud.

Certainly not how you make friends!

Way to go Adam, and thanks for getting my account fixed!

*** UPDATES ***

I'm picking up the brackets tomorrow, and taking them to the powdercoater (for those who are getting powdercoated). I'm also ordering up the hardware. Depending on what the powdercoater gives me for a turn around time, I'm guessing about two weeks and they'll be shipping out.

Ok, just a recap of what i will need.
Basic tools, spaner wrench, welder, 3/8 drill bits?, limit straps, 2.0 coilovers (700lb) coils 10", extended eyelets 3.75 inch, brackets, hardware. Does this all sound correct????, is there any other tools or specialty items i may need?????

Shocks are 2.0s, coilovers are 2.5" as measured on the inner diameter. You'll need two different spanner wrenches though, for the two different size jam nuts. Whichever company you buy the shocks from should be able to tell you sizes and part numbers you need. You'll also need a spring compressor set, but those can be rented from an auto parts store. Just be careful with those, coil springs can do a lot of damage if they suddenly decompress. They can unload with enough force to kill you if you're unlucky. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

If you want to start a round 4 list, go ahead. The sooner people fill it up, the sooner I'll do another run!

Guy at work owns a shop with his brother, they did most of the work since I don't know them well enough to hang around in their shop all the time, plus they work different shifts than me.

I watched most of the front end work and it really wasn't that bad, but I would have a shop help you out

OK guys, I picked up the brackets yesterday, but I didn't get them dropped off at the powdercoater because I was running late. They're closed today, so I'll drop them off tomorrow.

I just realized, but the only people I know whether or not they're getting powdercoated or raw are the ones who paid, so please copy the list and make a note next to your name what you're getting, so I know how many to get coated.

Thanks!
